At Tarmep, the security of your personal data is our priority. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.
1. Data Collected
Depending on your sign-in method, your name and email address are securely processed through Firebase Authentication.
Your location is requested to personalize weather and regional price features. Location is only obtained while the app is open and when you request it; your coordinates are sent to our server to fetch the weather forecast and are stored on your device. Your location is never used for advertising or marketing purposes.
Your field records and income/expense data are stored only locally on your device; they are not sent to our servers.
Your conversations with TarmepAI are sent through our servers to Google Gemini infrastructure to generate responses. Conversation contents are stored on our servers to improve service quality, prevent abuse, and enforce usage limits. Google may process data sent to Gemini under its own policies; Google's Generative AI Privacy Notice applies.
Photos you send in chat or for plant health analysis are uploaded to our servers for processing and forwarded to Google Gemini. Plant health analysis results are stored in your account history; you can delete past analyses from within the app at any time.
The free version shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve ads, prevent fraud, and measure performance, your device's advertising ID and technical device information may be processed by Google and its advertising partners. Users in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom are shown a consent form; you can change your preference at any time under Profile > Ad Preferences. Premium subscribers do not see ads.
Premium subscriptions are handled through Google Play; your credit card or payment details never reach us. Your purchase record is processed by RevenueCat to verify your subscription status.
Anonymous usage statistics are collected via Firebase Analytics to improve the app. Your device's notification address (FCM token) is stored on our server to deliver push notifications.
2. Use of Data
Collected data is used to perform the app's core functions, generate AI responses, enforce free usage limits, verify subscription status, serve ads, and ensure account security. Your data is never sold to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Security
All communication to the server is encrypted with HTTPS. Authentication is handled by industry-standard Firebase Authentication. Local data is stored in your device's secure storage.
5. Data Retention
Data is retained while your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data on our servers — including chat records and analysis history — is permanently deleted within 30 days. Local data remains on your device until you delete it.
6. Your Rights
Under GDPR and applicable data protection laws, you have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data and to object to its processing. You can delete your account and all data via Profile > Permanently Delete Account, or submit a request at www.tarmep.co/veri-silme. For more information, write to destek@tarmep.co.
7. Children's Privacy
Tarmep is not intended for individuals under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
8. Policy Changes
When this policy is updated, you will be notified within the app. The last updated date above is revised for significant changes.
